IT ALL STARTED with the Intro music. Laurien was looking for a special intro/outro sound for her upcoming podcast, Rise to Thrive.

As I learned more about Laurien and her vision, I realized, this is no regular ol’ podcast..The energy behind it was so potent, so true. With chills in my spine, arm hairs up, and even tears in my eyes..I thought to myself..”This is the type of production I want to be a part of!”

Nearing the end of the Intro Project, I offered Laurien my services as her Podcast Producer, to get Rise to Thrive started in the right way, because I know that running a podcast solo -although not impossible- is a major challenge, especially if you have ANY other responsibilities.. (let alone running a whole martial arts gym.) Now, Laurien is a highly talented and intelligent individual, and like a lot of us, she thought, “I can do this myself!” This is when I explained to her that LONE-WOLFING A PODCAST IS NOT THE WAY!!

Laurien signed on for a complete Podcast launch package (launch packages here) . We dialed in our collaborative spirits, and put Rise to Thrive Together in the best way possible. We came up with a production flow that worked with both of our ideas, strengths, and schedules. I handle all Audio/Video editing + the social media highlights, Laurien handles the interviews and the show notes. We also have pre-interview “sparring” sessions to run through her outline and hash out her gameplan prior to her interviews.

We have since finished a successful Season 1, and Season 2 will be even more FIRE!
